A Leica announced this Friday (26) its latest camera with sensor of 60MP. It’s about the Q3which arrives not only with a renewed look, but also the ability to capture 8K videoshybrid autofocus, new type of electronic viewfinder, and even wireless charging support.
Another novelty that draws attention to the model is the 3-inch LCD screen, which is now in flip-up style, allowing greater versatility when looking for different angles when shooting or creating videos. In addition, the camera arrives with a new image processor, called Maestro IV.
This component even has an 8GB buffer and, depending on the resolution, can generate a 70MB RAW file. Likewise, compared to the M11 model, the brand claims that the sensor is different, even though both have 60MP. The ISO value is also wider in the new model.
The Leica Q3 also received an upgrade in terms of the battery, which has now increased its capacity to 340mAh. The user can still choose to use the batteries of the previous generation, but will have the restricted recording capacity for 4K at 60 FPS. In terms of functionality, you can use the camera as a webcam on your computer. Available ports include a USB-C 3.1 and a mini HDMI.
