Fans of the series commented on social media about the first episode of season 9. Most of them are happy that there are finally new episodes and they also liked yesterday’s episode: “I was very happy about the new episodes and was not disappointed. Looking forward to the next episodes,” wrote one user. Other fans also praised the episode: “Great Season Start” and “Entertaining and beautiful as always”.
Some viewers didn’t like the plot of a fake pregnancy and wondered, for example, how Marko didn’t notice for seven months that his girlfriend wasn’t pregnant.
But another point caused much more discussion: “How can she, as a midwife, talk to an outsider about a patient, even if it’s her friend!?!” In one scene, Lena talks to her friend about the fake pregnancy and how you can order things like a fake maternity card or a silicone baby bump online these days.
While some fans point out professional confidentiality here, other fans defend Lena or the scriptwriters: “Someone for whom she does not charge is not a patient,” says a viewer. And another user writes: “She talks to a friend about her work ?!! Other people do it too and, if I remember correctly, she didn’t name any names.”
