With the Tab Extreme, Lenovo says it is “the largest and most powerful tablet” on the market to date. In this case, that promises you an OLED screen with a diagonal of 14.5 inches, 3K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Thanks to its sensor, the screen can adapt the color display and brightness to the environment. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 serves as the chip here. A battery life of up to 12 hours is also promised.

The Lenovo Tab Extreme also houses eight 4-channel speakers from JBL with Dolby Atmos. According to Lenovo, the Tab Extreme can be used in a particularly versatile way. For example, the dual-mode stand attaches magnetically to the device and allows the user to position the device horizontally or vertically. The keyboard uses two hinges (sold separately in some markets) that allow the tablet to be secured and then tilted to the most comfortable viewing angle for the user. When closed, the stand’s main hinge provides a storage compartment for the included Lenovo Precision Pen 3.

Features like adaptive audio and visual capture technology ensure the camera stays focused on the user during video calls, even when they are moving. The narrow beaming technology uses four integrated microphones to filter out ambient noise and ensure clear voice quality within a radius of 50 centimetres. If there are several participants in the conversation, the 360-degree voice recording mode can be switched on.

The tablet comes with Android 13 as the operating system ex works. You can also use the tablet as a kind of sketchpad in cooperation with a laptop via the DP-in / USB Type-C port or as a control panel for the monitor via the DP-out / USB Type-C. To use this functionality wirelessly, you can use the Lenovo Freestyle app.

The Lenovo Tab Extreme is expected to be available from June 2023 at a starting price of 1,299 euros. I think at this price it is more aimed at (semi-)professional users.
