Loved or hated, but never forgotten. So say the fans who refuse to let go of PXNDX, one of the Mexican groups that, although some still do not accept it, were one of the most important of the past decade. so much so they were about to do a collaboration with Hayley Williams herself.
It is no secret to anyone that in the mid-2000s and early 2000s, emo sounded strong in our country. And yes of course PXNDX were the mere representatives of sadness on this side of the pond. But just at that time, Hayley Williams became a representative of this wave of the kids along with Paramore and a crossover was going to happen that was going to blow the heads of many.
Let’s remember the failed collaboration between PXNDX and Hayley Williams
As you will remember, in 2010 and perhaps at the highest point of his career, PXNDX got the opportunity to do an MTV Unplugged. In that live album that was recorded at the Churubusco Studios in CDMX, the royal band reinterpreted some of their classics in an acoustic format and even released songs exclusively for this show.
