Based in Mallorca and with free time to rest, the coach of the Argentine National Team, Lionel ScaloniHe took the opportunity to pursue his other passion, cycling, and participated in the thirteenth edition of the 312 Ok Mobility.

The race, which runs through the island of Mallorca, offers three modalities: 312, 167 and 225 kilometres. After consecrating himself with the Argentine national team, Scaloni completed the 167 kilometers in 5:08:32 after starting at 6:30 a.m. along with 8,000 other participants.

“Here you see me, dehydrated but worth it. I did the same route as last year and more or less the same, the same average, and happy to have finished. They have helped me the last 40 kilometers that I couldn’t take anymore, but it’s a pleasure”, he explained at the end.

With participation in past editions of the race, experience was a key factor for the coach to complete the course. “We know the roads well, and since there are no cars it is different, you can get in, cut the curves and enjoy riding the bike much better. Last year it was calmer, they didn’t know me that much, but this year I enjoyed it more“, he remarked.
