A chinese probe found evidence of liquid water on mars would be in the dunes according to the data that was sent by the robot Zhurong to scientists; the artifact has been exploring the Red planet.

According to a study published in the scientific journal Advances in Science and Research, the Zhurong detected on the Martian surface crusts, cracks, granulations and other marks created by water.

According to the experts, the analyzes carried out indicate that, in the dunes On Mars, water-bearing minerals abound, such as hydrated sulfates, protein stones, and hydrated iron oxides.

Why is it important that Mars has liquid water?

The Zhurong detected scabs, cracks, granulations and other marks created by water on the Martian surface.

As we have mentioned in other informative notes of The Truth News, Mars is the planetary body most similar to Earth and therefore the one with the most potential to host or have hosted life. This makes it a clear target of astrobiological interest to assess its potential habitability.

It is important to note that not only China is exploring the neighboring planet, other countries, including the United States, have planned to send humans to Mars to see the feasibility of terrestrials living in that place.

The existence of liquid water on the red planet has been the subject of numerous studies, since, if confirmed, it would serve to better understand the evolution of the Martian climate and to support a possible human migration to the planet in the future.

According to the local newspaper Science and Technology Daily, liquid water on Mars could indicate the existence of life.

Last September, Chinese experts, also based on data collected by the Zhurong, detected layers of Martian terrain shaped by water activity about 3.3 billion years ago.

The Zhurong is part of the Tianwen-1 mission, which also includes an orbiter spacecraft and a landing module.
