After weeks in the Melodi Grand Prix bubble, Ulrikke Brandstorp (27) is ready to return to everyday life.

The singer has been a big favorite in the competition. Among other things, she was at the top of Eurovisionworld’s odds list, together with winner, Alessandra Mele (20).

Although it didn’t go all the way, Brandstorp takes it all with a smile. To Good evening Norway, she tells that she is proud of her own efforts and that she is now ready to take everyday life back.

– It has been fantastic and I am so proud. I look forward to having time to wash panties and vacuum, she laughs.

– Let it sink in

Brandstorp says that she has several exciting projects underway, including the ABBA musical “Mamma Mia”, which she is looking forward to returning to.

– I am also going to get married. I haven’t been able to plan and have barely sent out “save the date” and haven’t even sent out to everyone. So I have a lot on my plate.

Nevertheless, the artist emphasizes that she will let the last few weeks sink in.

– I will take a few days to enjoy this and take it in. It is absolutely sick that we have sung here for 8,500 people. So there’s something about just letting it sink in and then start preparing for the next song you’re going to write.

– Don’t give me

Despite the fact that it did not go all the way to the top this time, the singer is in good spirits.

– I’ve done everything I could, but it didn’t work out, so I’ll have to try again another time.

When asked by Good Evening Norway if Brandstorp will try to reach the Eurovision Song Contest again, she replies:

– I can’t give up. So to everyone who is sick of me now, just worry about the next time.
