Increasingly worse values for the Greens: In the current one “Sunday trend” of “Bild am Sonntag” they fall to their lowest level since December 2021. They lose another percentage point in the survey by the opinion research institute Insa. They slip down to fourth place – and end up even further behind the AfD. That still comes to 16 percent.

The SPD achieved 21 percent in the survey and was thus able to gain one percentage point. The FDP loses a point and comes to eight percent.

Ampel would not have a parliamentary majority

The strongest party remains the Union with an unchanged 28 percent. The left gains a point and comes to five percent. A parliamentary majority would clearly miss the traffic light.

For the “Sunday trend”, the opinion research company Insa interviewed 1202 people from April 24th to 28th. The statistical margin of error was given as plus/minus 2.9 percentage points.

It had looked a little better for the Greens in the latest political barometer from ZDF and Tagesspiegel. The party of federal chairmen Ricarda Lang and Omid Nouripour increased one percentage point to 18 percent. The AfD remained unchanged at 15 percent.

The SPD also achieved 18 percent (minus one), the FDP also lost one percentage point to six percent, the left only came to four percent. The strongest force was still the Union with 31 percent (plus one).

In this survey, too, the traffic light would not have a government majority. It would be enough for a coalition of the CDU/CSU with the Greens or with the SPD. (lem)
