The president of the Forţa Dreptei party, Ludovic Orban, declared, on Saturday, in Constanța, that Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu tried to show that he is a great reformist, fooling the Romanians that he is abolishing 200,000 budget posts, which are actually vacant and, according to to some exceptions provided by the law on which he committed his liability, even these will not be abolished.

“A matter that seems downright ridiculous to me. Ciolacu tried to show that he is a great reformist, trying to fool the Romanians that he is abolishing 200,000 jobs. Of course the 200,000 positions were the vacant positions. Well, hold on tight, if you read the law that he undertook responsibility for, you will see that even vacancies do not abolish them. There is an article that contains 14 exceptions to the abolition of vacant positions, hold on tight, from letter a to letter n. So even vacant positions are not abolished, because this law actually establishes 14 exceptions to the abolition of positions vacancies”, said Orban, in a press conference.

According to him, there is an exception of exceptions.

“And the height of the heights is the exception of the exceptions. The last exception in which, in addition to the 14 exceptions, the Government may, through a governmental memorandum, not abolish positions without any reason. Some pseudo-arguments are invoked in the other 14 exceptions, but this exception of exceptions practically allows the Government to maintain all its functions. And a further article allows the same Government, through a governmental memorandum, to establish new positions, it does not fire anyone. Abolish the heads of offices,” declared the leader of the Forţa Dreptei party.

He stated that the heads of offices whose positions are abolished will have the opportunity to be promoted in their positions.

“But even if you read that article carefully, in fact, after their positions are abolished, the heads of offices are given priority to occupy other management positions, higher from a hierarchical point of view, i.e. heads of service, deputy director, that is, they promote them, so they abolish their positions by promotion. I mean, it’s something from the night of the mind, these are tricks”, Ludovic Orban also said. (Agerpres)
