Mexico City.- Sergio Mayer commented in an interview that he advised Luis de Llano to admit his mistake in having a relationship with Sasha Sokol when she was 14 years old, but he defended him by arguing that the producer did it out of love.
“You cannot defend the indefensible, you have to admit that at that moment there was a mistake. You have to understand that Luis did it for love,” Sergio Mayer said on a television program.
The actor has a close relationship with De Llano, for which he assured that it has been very difficult for the producer to recognize what he did and that his lawyers recommended him not to do so.
“You have to understand that Luis, thanks to his status and power, obviously had what he wanted. But Luis fell in love and he has recognized it. He simply has to admit and say ‘I was wrong, but I did it for love,'” he added.
Sergio Mayer assured that he respects Sasha Sokol and that he admires her for raising her voice.
Definitely my respect and admiration for Sasha and all my support as a woman for what she has said and how she has expressed it,” she concluded.
The Garibaldi member helped actress Ginny Hoffman in the complaint filed by her daughter Alexa against her father, Héctor Parra, for sexual abuse.
Sasha Sokol filed a complaint against producer Luis de Llano last year for non-pecuniary damage in which he asks for a public apology and compensation, the amount of which will be donated to an organization against child sexual abuse.
