“Today as a city councilor I have the obligation to applaud the teachers, those who have taught us and I have nothing more to say about that than to thank them for their presence, and that it is an honor for me to be able to recognize Dr. Ferretti, give him the that he deserves, recognize him, applaud him, follow his example, because you are the ones who mark what society needs” he expanded.

Next, two friends were invited to the podium, Drs. Oscar Bottasso and Hugo Tanno, who dedicated a few words to the honoree: “It is worth emphasizing that he has been a trainer of young and enthusiastic people, and it never hurts to remember his participation in the Conicet, and we have walked together for many years. We are attending to an act of true justice, the recognition that life owed to Pepe, and within the heart of each one, this will remain in everyone’s memory”.

“You deserve it, without a doubt. One believes that happiness does not reside in doing what one wants, but in wanting what one does, Pepe felt passion in what he continues to want and do today; and that joy of sharing, because if he loves something, he transmits the joy of what it means to know what he does, that is essential in teaching” said Dr. Tanno.

Guillermo Ferretti, son of the honoree, focused his speech on the different definitions of the word “illustrious”, adapting the description to each aspect of Ferretti’s life: doctor, teacher, husband and father.

Tessandori and Schvartz, author and signatory of the project respectively, were in charge of delivering the corresponding gifts to the honoree, which include a copy of the decree, a diploma, and a personalized pen.
