The youngest of the HFC Feldkirch Knights, Feldkirch’s floorball club, were recently guests in Schwarzenbach, a small community near St. Gallen.
A U9 tournament took place there – in a beautiful, new gym with great organization and the best catering. The children thanked us with games that were well worth seeing and, above all, very exciting. In the end, the game for third place was tied 4:4 at the end of the game, a penalty shoot-out had to decide the game.
Our shooters David Hartmann and Ferdinand Müller were calm and used their penalties very coolly. At the same time, Simon Jussel, who was in goal for the first time in a tournament, bought the opponents’ nerve and held what there was to hold. The joy was of course huge and the young players were rewarded for their great effort with small trophies filled with dextrose to strengthen them.
