Luxury car crashes, catches fire and 3 die, in the hotel zone of Cancun
Completely destroyed, this is how an apparent Mini Cooper and a tourist transport van remained in the hotel zone of cancunleaving a balance of 3 people dead and one wounded, after the shock between both units.
The events occurred during the early morning on Kukulcán Boulevard, at kilometer 16, the place where elements of the police arrived. Tourist Police and the Traffic Police, as the first to respond to the report that reached the emergency number 9-1-1.
Upon arrival, they confirmed that the luxury car was on fire, even though there were two people inside, another one a few meters away who no longer had vital signs and on the road a Van from the company “Smile & Go”, which in its inside the driver was pressed.

Paramedics arrived immediately. Heroic Fire Brigade and Civil Protection, who activated the protocols to rescue the victims, some time later, they confirmed the death of 3 people, the driver of the Van was injured, he was transferred to the hospital.
Later, elements of the Ministerial Police and Expert Services of the State Attorney General’s Office arrived for the investigations and the removal of the body. So far the identity of the deceased is unknown.
It was confirmed that the driver of the blue Van, license plates 30-RD-3P, was driven by Carlos Mario del Valle, 37 years old. He will give his statement of the facts to the corresponding authorities.
