Madonna has provisionally postponed all tour dates Celebration because of a “serious bacterial infection” for which she has even been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. His representative, Guy Oseary, has communicated the news through a statement on his Instagram account.
“On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection that led her to stay several days in the ICU. His health is improving, although he remains under medical care. Full recovery expected”, the manager has expressed regarding the state of health of the famous artist.
However, the importance of the ailment and the need for a recovery period make it mandatory to take a break at all concerts. “We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and the dates on which the new concerts will be scheduled ”, settles the letter.
A concert in Barcelona
The ‘queen of pop’ tour was scheduled to begin on July 15 in Vancouver and proposed the singer’s return to Spain after seven years. The date chosen was Wednesday, November 1when Madonna was going to pay tribute to a four-decade career full of successes at the Palau Sant Jordi. Now, her followers will have to wait to find out the new date on which the author of Like a Virgin will perform in the city of Barcelona.
