Thus, the Danish star actor can enjoy becoming a grandfather for the first time.
Together with his wife, Hanne Jacobsen, the couple also have a son, Carl Jacobsen Mikkelsen (26).
Took over the role
Danish Mads Mikkelsen is one of Hollywood’s leading actors. During his career he has acted in a number of films and series. Among other things in major productions such as the James Bond films: “Quantum of Solace” and “Casino Royale” and the “Hannibal” TV series.
Mikkelsen also moved into the “Harry Potter” universe in 2022, after Johnny Depp lost the role of Gellert Grindelwald.
Depp was asked to withdraw from the film after the actor lost a libel suit against the English tabloid newspaper The Sun.

In December 2020, Mikkelsen told Entertainment Weekly that it was difficult to take over the role from Depp.
– There must be a bridge between what Johnny did and what I will do. At the same time, I have to make the role my own, he reflected.
Reviewers and fans were very pleased with Mikkelsen’s interpretation of the role, but it is unclear whether it will be Mikkelsen or Depp who returns in the role of Gellert Grindelwald.
