Son who Corrects
Game one since interim coach Ryan Mason returned to Tottenham Hotspur: On Thursday evening, the troubled Spurs drew 2-2 from Manchester United. A clear performance improvement over the 6-1 draw against Newcastle United on Sunday. Heung-min Son saved the Londoners a point with a late goal in the 79th minute. “Son Saves Spurs”, now writes the ‘Daily Mail’. The ‘Mirror’ agrees: “Well done my son.”
Red Zerlegt Maguire
In Argentina, statements are made by Marcos Rojo, who doesn’t take good care of his former team-mate Harry Maguire. Speaking to TyC Sports, the centre-back, who played with the Englishman at Manchester United in 2019/20, explained: “I was angry with the coach because Maguire always played. Thank God they’ve taken him out now and let Lisandro Martínez play.”
And further: *”I walked into Solskjaer’s office and said, ‘Either let me go or let me play.’ I knew not letting me play was wrong. He said to me, ‘They paid so much for him and he has to play no matter what. And I said: ‘You who**son, let me play, this guy knocks you out every sunday.” In January 2020, Rojo then moved back to Argentina.
