Authorities charged a man who allegedly posed as a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent and allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in Prince George’s County.

Victor Antonio Reed, 26, of DC, allegedly showed his victim a badge as she was walking through a shopping center parking lot in Oxon Hill and told her she would be deported if she didn’t do what he was asking.

“She agreed and when she was inside the vehicle, he sexually assaulted her,” said Prince George’s Police Capt. Saul Serpas.

According to charging documents obtained by Telemundo 44, Reed intimidated her with a firearm, videos of people being detained and even demanded money from her.

After the man allegedly abused the woman, she was able to get out of the vehicle and call authorities.

Reed was arrested in Takoma Park and faces eleven criminal charges for sexual assault, use of a weapon, robbery, assault, impersonating a federal officer, among others.

Residents of the area say they don’t know how to differentiate between a real agent and a fake one, so here are some tips:

  • Check with your eyes uniforms, patrols, etc.
  • Ask for the license plate number (and see the identification of the alleged agent)
  • Demand to call the alleged agent’s supervisor
  • If you don’t feel safe, call your local police

If you have been a victim of Reed, you can contact the Prince George’s Police. They are not going to ask you about your immigration status.
