Manager of the Philadelphia mass shooting will face more than a dozen criminal charges

The gunman involved in the Philadelphia mass shooting, allegedly untargeted in the Kingsessing neighborhood, was indicted Wednesday on 11 counts.

This is Kimbrady Carriker, 40, who faces various charges ranging from murder to aggravated assault, as well as violation of the weapons law and reckless action.

The individual entered court with a lawyer provided by the correction system and limited himself to saying yes or no as the charges were read to him. He didn’t utter another word.

The judge chose to read the names of the fatalities and those injured either by bullets or by glass in the chaotic event. He was arraigned and placed on $7.5 million bond plus an additional $1.5 million for each victim.

TELEMUNDO 62 obtained traffic camera video Tuesday showing the suspect at the corner of 66th and Chester streets opening fire indiscriminately.

The authorities seek to find the reason for the deadly shooting, but so far they have not provided details on the matter. They believe the gunman made the detonations randomly without a specific target at the time of the event.
