Manhunt for two men who shot Harris County officer

HOUSTON – Police authorities across Texas are on high alert and searching for two suspects in the shooting of an officer Wednesday night in northeast Harris County.

According to authorities, the suspects are Terran Green and James Green.

This Thursday morning it was revealed that the vehicle in which the suspects escaped, a Ford Escape truck with Texas license plates SVJ6590, was located.

However, the van was abandoned and the suspects were not in it.

The assault on the officer occurred at 13500 Homestead, northeast Harris County.

Sheriff Ed González reported that the agent received two bullet wounds to the torso and is in the hospital in critical but stable condition.

The officer was on duty when the armed attack on the officer occurred.
