Marlins extend worst start to season in history to 0-7

Dark outlook for Miami:

The Marlins have lost all seven games played to start their season. They had already set the record for the franchise’s worst start when they lost their sixth in a row on Tuesday.

Despite the team’s bad moment, manager Skip Schumaker assured the press this week that it is not a problem caused by “lack of effort”, but rather what has failed is exclusively the execution.

For the Angels, Venezuelan Luis Rengifo was 3-1, with one run scored.

For the Marlins, Venezuelans Luis Arráez 3-0, one scored; and Avisaíl García 3-1, one scored. The Dominicans Ulises De la Cruz 4-1 and Vidal Bruján 3-0.
