Since the release of Marvel Snap on June 9, 2022, players have not been able to play PvP. At the end of January, this battle mode will finally be submitted later. Competitive mode was still under development at the time of release.
Developer Second Dinner introduced the PvP mode with a new mechanic that affects the rarity of the cards. Series Drop is the name of this mechanic and causes cards of rarity 3, 4 and 5 to drop to the tier below and thus drop about ten times more often and also become cheaper in the shop. Unfortunately, Thanus and Galaktus are not among them. This Series Drop is meant to happen once a month and make some cards easier to obtain.

On January 31st, the patch should bring the PvP mode and the first series drop into play. So get ready for some competitive action.
