The PS5 5 continues to evolve and will soon welcome two important features in a new update that will not only make players happy, but will also drastically improve the experience, in particular by freeing up space on your hard drive.
Two big new features are coming to PS5
Initially, voice chat will take the lead with the arrival of Discord. Yes, finally, after being announced in 2021 and being the subject of a whole bunch of rumors regarding its progress, the sources of Tom Henderson, an insider known for its good news, have confirmed that the application will finally arrive on PlayStation 5 with the 7.0 update which will arrive on March 8, 2023. However, the features available at launch have not been revealed. If it is certain that it will be possible to use voice chat and classic interactions, there is for example no mention of the Nitro service from Discord or the options allowing you to stream your screen.
In addition to Discord, the PS5 update 7.0 will give us a feature that should delight players who are out of space on their hard drive. Henderosn’s sources say that Sony will deploy an option to stream its PS5 games instead of installing them on its console. If it will of course be necessary to have a sufficiently solid connection to cash in, it is still a damn useful feature on paper.
Here we have no more details and it is not known, for example, if all players will be able to take advantage of it or not, or if this feature will be reserved for PS Plus subscribers in the same way as d other options, like cloud saves.
