MBTA buses were involved in an accident near Chelsea City Hall, causing an intersection to be closed, Chelsea police said.
They urged the public to avoid Washington Street and Broadway because of the accident.
It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured. Police said the MBTA is handling the incident with the help of Chelsea police.
