The junior karatekas of the Samurai Karate Club Bludenz won 7 x precious metal last weekend at the state championship in Koblach.

On April 22, around 170 athletes from 16 Vorarlberg clubs started at this year’s state championship. Eight karatekas from the Samurai Karate Club Bludenz also fought for medals and top positions in three different age groups and two competitions (single kata and single kumite).

The still young karatekas from the alpine town presented themselves from their best side and, despite strong competition, were able to take 7 medals (1 x silver, 6 x bronze) and numerous top positions to Bludenz. The performances in kumite were particularly impressive, but the Bludenz junior karatekas also showed strong performances in kata. In any case, the high level of the competitors did not make it easy for the referees to determine the winners that day. The Bludenzer Karatekas can be all the more proud of their achievements.

The Samurai Karate Club Bludenz heartily congratulates its eight participants of the state championship on their great fights and the excellent result. Keep it up!
