Hertha BSC will react immediately to Davie Selke’s (27) move to Cologne. According to information from the ‘Bild’, the club in the capital is pushing for a transfer from Fabian Reese (25). The striker is said to be in Berlin for talks.
Reese is only contractually bound to second division club Holstein Kiel until the end of the season. The ‘Bild’ names a mid-six-figure amount as a possible transfer fee. If Hertha and Holstein do not agree, Reese should switch to Berlin for free in the summer.
The striker, who can also be used on the flanks, comes from the youth team in Kiel. After stops at Schalke, Karlsruhe and Fürth, Reese has been playing for the Storks again for three years. In 102 professional appearances, he has contributed to 35 goals (eleven goals, 24 assists).
