This Wednesday the pavilion of the Mexican Caribbean from the International fair of tourism (Fitur) 2023 in Madrid; ceremony that will mark the beginning of the day of activities and business appointments to promote the tourist attractions that it has Quintana Roo.

The governor, presidents, legislators, among other authorities from the country’s tourism sector, met at the Institución Ferial de Madrid, a venue where the Mexican pavilion has been installed, which will be one of the largest in Latin America.

During the opening ceremony, was present the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of Spain, Reyes Maroto, who recognized the work of the Federal Government within the tourism sector, which has made it one of the favorite places for travelers from around the world.

“I want to put the value, the effort that the Mexican government, all its leaders who are here and very well represented women in tourism have made… This makes Mexico today one of the most preferred destinations worldwide… we do not compete , we work together to be able to have that tourism sector where sustainability, digitalization and inclusion are part of it”, he said.

On the other hand, he celebrated that during this year they could once again have the exhibition of the mayan trainwhich he points out will be a project that will benefit tourism and Mexicans.

“That Mayan train that we were able to see last year will undoubtedly make it easier for tourists, not only for the trip, but for the Mexican population, and the important impact that it will have, as well as the common projects that we have, many Congratulations.”

Quintana Roo at Fitur 2023

During the ceremony, the Mexican Caribbean was represented by the governor Mara Lezamawho assured that they will be useful days for the promotion, negotiation and diffusion of the main tourist attractions in the state.

“With 1,111 m2, we break the record as the largest pavilion in LATAM, where we will promote the wonders of the destination, to achieve a new tourism model, investments and development opportunities but with social justice and shared prosperity for the people of Quintana Roo.”

It is worth mentioning that within the tourist offer of Quintana Roo that will be promoted during Fitur 2023 will be the beaches, cenotes, archaeological sites, gastronomy, culture, adventure, magical towns, security and its maritime, land and air connectivity.
