Cedric Itten from BSC Young Boys rules out a change of club for the time being. The 26-year-old said to ‘transfermarkt.de’: “Of course you never know what’s going to happen in football, but I want to stay with YB for the long term and I’m not a guy who just runs away at the first offer just because a season is going well.” The Swiss is currently happy in Bern and raves about it “great team spirit” and “a fantastic coach, also on a human level, from whom I can still learn a lot.”

Most recently, Borussia Mönchengladbach had hopes for a transfer in the summer. A change now seems off the table. Itten, who joined from Glasgow Rangers last summer, has since made 33 appearances for Young Boys and has scored 18 goals. The attacker was also allowed to appear in the national team jersey at the World Cup in Qatar and has been part of coach Murat Yakin’s extended squad since 2019.
