Borussia Mönchengladbach is apparently pursuing a clear plan with Jan Olschowsky. The ‘kicker’ reports that the foals believe the 21-year-old youth keeper can play a major role in the club despite Jonas Omlin’s signing. According to the report, those responsible hope that Olschowsky will have developed further by 2025.
Appropriately, the native of Neuss extended his contract with the foals until 2027 during the week. “He has shown at the highest level, whether in the game or in training, that he is a great talent and that we can totally rely on him”, sports director Roland Virkus is pleased about the expansion of the cooperation. In the current season, Olschowsky was able to catch his breath in the Bundesliga for the first time and was in the box in two games for Borussia.
