Police arrested a man accused of entering a woman’s home and sexually assault her when she arrived home from work the previous Monday in the South Florida city of Parkland.
Less than a week after the attack occurred, officers from the Special Victims Unit of the Broward County Sheriff’s Office found and detained in Miami Antonio Doll54 years old, reported Telemundo 51.
According to the police report, around 4:15 p.m. on October 23, the victim arrived home after work and, as he was heading to the living room, an unknown man He hit her and threw her to the ground..
The suspect then used a sharp object to force her into a bedroom, where he sexually assaulted her. Afterwards, she allegedly stole several of the victim’s belongings and fled the scene.
Surveillance cameras at the residence show an individual – supposedly Doll – arriving on a bicycle and loitering outside, checking the entrance and the back, trying to enter. He is even seen with a broom, apparently trying to pretend that he is a worker so as not to arouse suspicion in the neighborhood.
The authorities released the video and asked for help from the public to identify him.
After following several investigative leads, agents identified Doll as a suspect in the crime and detained him in Miami; He was then transferred to the Broward County Jail.
Doll faces multiple serious charges, including sexual assault, sexual assaultaggravated assault, kidnapping, illegal detention and armed robbery.
