Miami police asked for help finding an 8-month-old baby named Jeilaz González Sabinowhose whereabouts have been unknown since October and could have been kidnapped by his parents.

Authorities said they are working collaboratively with the Department of Children and Families to clarify the circumstances surrounding the minor’s disappearance.

Little Jeilaz was last seen in the area of Little Haiti on October 19 and it is believed that he may have been kidnapped by his parents, who had lost custody of the minor for child violence, reported Telemundo 51.

Miami Police Captain Freddy Cruz said the parents could be involved in the disappearance of the little one, an “8-month-old white/Hispanic male”, of whom there are no images.

“This is a very complicated case. We have information that this child, whose whereabouts are unknown, could be with his parents…” Cruz commented.

On Twitter, the Miami-Dade Police Department posted images of the parents and said they were both “possibly driving a 2008 gray Chevrolet” with a Florida license plate marked 96D-CAP.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 305-603-6300 or 305-579-6111,” the post states.

“We have information that suggests that possibly (the parents) are involved in some case of domestic violence. Possibly, the child is in danger…” Cruz added.

“We are working closely with the Department of Children and Families, but we need to know where this child is. We do not have a photo or an image…”, highlighted the official.
