A Miami woman was arrested last Thursday on charges of burglarizing the homes of men she previously drugged.
This is Danyelle Eans, 34, who is accused of two robberies that occurred a year apart, one in May 2022 and the other last month, local media reported.
In the May case, the victim said she brought Eans back to her house where they had drinks together.
The man subsequently passed out and when he woke up in the afternoon, more than $40,000 was missing from his home.
Surveillance video showed Eans removing bags from the man’s home, where she was linked by matching her prints to ones found at the scene.
In the July case, a man said he had met a woman at a club and took her back to his apartment where they continued to drink.
Also, he fell asleep and when he woke up he found Eans by his closet.
The woman offered to order breakfast and left the room, but when he got out of bed, she was gone, and neither were her three Rolex watches with a total value of around $47,000.
This time, surveillance footage from the man’s building showed Eans in an elevator wearing a black shirt, black leggings and red hair.
Possibly, there are other victims who have not denounced the woman out of shame, considers the police.
“Basically, this is his job. She is a professional at this, this is what she does, and we know of two cases almost a year apart, so in between those, there have to be many more cases where she did the exact same thing,” official spokesman Michael Vega of Miami Police.
Eans is charged with two counts of grand theft.
At the beginning of August it was reported that the Miami police were looking for a woman suspected of stealing two Rolex watches worth a total of 115,000 after seducing a man at a party.
The woman walked the victim home after a night out at a club and then took his Rolexes and his iPhone 11 after he fell asleep.
In June, two Florida women drugged a man and stole his belongings at his homeamong which they took a diamond necklace valued at 355 thousand dollars.
