Microsoft has just launched a new knowledge trail dedicated to Brazilians who want to enter the job market. The material, called “How to get a new job”, was created in partnership with the consultancy Ubá Gestão and has tips from Denise Bueno, specialist in Human Resources.

The course, free and 100% online, is divided into four modules, with video lessons and support material. Anyone can participate in the training, where they will learn how to prepare a resume, how to look for a job, how to do well in an interview, and how to use and improve their LinkedIn profile.

Those interested can access the content through the platform of the connect+, Microsoft’s training hub, through Escola Trabalhador 4.0, a partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) and also on the YouTube channel of Microsoft Brazil. For Lucia Rodrigues, leader of Philanthropy at Microsoft, the new track enables the formation of fundamental skills for current job openings.

“In addition to the technical knowledge, the participants now have the learning necessary to apply for the job positions of interest to them”, explains Lucia.

The leader also reinforces that, in addition to offering training, it is also necessary to enable these people to enter the job market. According to her, through this initiative, Microsoft wants to support employability in the country, generating better economic opportunities for everyone.

Microsoft More Brazil

Microsoft promotes learning and employability initiatives dedicated to digital literacy and the technologies demanded in today’s world of work. Since July 2020, more than 7 million people have been impacted by big tech programs, with more than 1.5 million people having completed at least one course and another 145,000 employed or outplaced within 6 months of graduating.

The courses and training are part of the Microsoft Mais Brasil plan, which aims to support the training of Brazilian people for the technological job market. Among the initiatives is Conecta+, which concentrates all the training offered by the company, including Microsoft Reactor events, exclusive courses for women and other underrepresented populations in the technology market, and free LinkedIn Learning courses.
