Juarez City.- A group of more than 50 migrants arrived this afternoon at gate 40 of the border wall on the Rio Grande to turn themselves in to United States authorities.
Now they must walk a couple more kilometers to the east of gate 36, where they were previously handed over to the border patrol.
This is due to the fact that the razor wire fence has been extended along the riverbed.
According to the Border Patrol, all migrants who cross illegally are returned to Mexico under titles 8 and 42.
