Yes, I assume all the challenges. Everything I’m sure I want to do, I do. For example, that was a situation that occurred at one point, the call surprised me because I was rehearsing a play and I had to leave it due to timing issues. I sent myself with everything because I have done musical theater, I like to sing and dance. So it was also an opportunity, for me, to show my work as an actor in different facets. I enjoyed it and it was cool, a great experience that I enjoyed at the time.
I currently live exclusively from acting, so yes, you can. I think it’s a matter of being persevering, of having a lot of discipline, which is very important because sometimes one believes that by appearing on the screen, everything is served. Performing arts is a job, a constant struggle, to be alert where there are castings, auditions and to be there to show your work. That is the beauty because it allows you to reinvent yourself and in art you have to be with all your senses open to learn everything you can and in each novel, work, series or whatever you start from scratch. I live from this, I like it and I enjoy it.
Yes, we are at the La Plaza theater. The truth is, I’m enjoying this tragicomedy that has a lot of black humor that I personally like too. So I think that laughing at dramatic things, finding the other side and through laughter is more digestible, I think it’s a great point that this work has.
