“Although we have had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly,” Tyson said in a statement on Friday. “We have a new date and the result will be the same regardless of when we fight. Jake Paul will be knocked out.”

Almost three decades older than his rival, Tyson has dismissed voices from the boxing community that warn him of the risks of participating in his first professional fight since 2005.
Many fans have taken to social media since the initial announcement to express their discontent with the fact that Tyson, a sporting glory, has made the decision to come out of retirement at such an advanced age and to face a Paul who continues being the subject of much criticism for his past as a YouTube star.
