Available for two weeks already, Minecraft Legends has just been updated to bring some fixes. Mojang takes the opportunity to communicate the number of players who have embarked on the adventure to lead armies and fight the creatures that threaten the Overworld.

3 million players in the Overworld

We learn that more than 3 million players have tried the latest title from Xbox Game Studios. If the figure may seem high, it should still be remembered that it is not exclusive to Microsoft platforms and that it has directly integrated Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

It remains to be seen whether this player base will grow through additional content, or even by improving the multiplayer experience, which does not really encourage investment due to a lack of progression.

An update with some fixes

Mojang is obviously working to make matchmaking better and has just introduced a feature at the request of many players. Finally, it is possible to choose whether you want a guest player to be an ally or an adversary.

Also, the time to start a game has been reduced considerably. Once 6 players have joined a public lobby, you will only have to wait 10 seconds compared to 60 before.

The studio has also worked on the performance and stability of the title, in particular by preventing crashes, but also by correcting problems relating to the appearance of piglins. Magma Cube audio was also prone to issues, something Mojang has fixed.

All of this is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
