The Microsoft home team has kept its promise: after unveiling the Minecraft Legends launch window last fall, theXbox Developer Direct announces the release date of the game.
The nice strategic RPG based on cubes and procedural maps will make its debut on the gaming market next April 18, 2023. Since its debut, users subscribed to Xbox Game Pass will be able to find Minecraft Legends available within the service. Besides up Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PCthe adventure – as usual for the Minecraft IP – will also land on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switchwith a cross-platform launch.
During the Xbox Developer Direct, the development team of Minecraft Legends has raised the curtain on the rich PvP mode of the strategic RPG, which will support the main campaign of the game. In the competitive mode, two teams of players will compete in procedurally generated maps, with the aim of conquering the opposing fortress. Each member of the team will have to offer their contribution, collecting resources, building protective walls and siege tools, including towers and catapults. To complicate things, the Piglins will take care of it, with the insidious creatures who will not fail to attack all the parties on the field.
