President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador He affirmed that the health system in Mexico is rising, and reiterated his commitment that before the end of his six-year term there will be a “first-rate health system.”

He announced that information on drug use in schools will be presented, a campaign that his government launched as a preventive measure against addictions.

He reiterated that an important factor to avoid the addictions is that families do not disintegrate. He affirmed that in Mexico there is drug trafficking, but not consumption, or there is, but very little in comparison with the United States.

López Obrador said that it is in the indigenous communities where there is less drug use, and recalled that it is in neighborhoods with more family disintegration, individualism and materialism where there was more rupture of the social fabric.
