On December 17, Indira Ampiot was crowned Miss France 2023, succeeding Diane Leyre. The young 18-year-old woman was elected on July 27, Miss Guadeloupe 2022 in Gosier. The beauty queen has started her media marathon, in order to present herself to the French the day after her coronation. She notably participated in the 13-hour newscast of TF1 presented by Anne-Claire Coudray. “They called me Miss France and I was surprised at the time. But it’s true that I’m living a waking dream and I’m really very happy. I’m still on a little cloud”, she noticed. This Monday, January 2, it was Cyril Hanouna and his columnists who welcomed the young woman on their set. She was exceptionally accompanied by Alexia Laroche-Joubert, the president of the Miss France company, Cindy Fabre being busy.

She notably returned to her commitment against cancer or to what she whispered in the ear of her runner-up, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, a few minutes before her coronation. However, she refused to say more about her love life, replying that her heart belonged to the French. Cyril Hanouna wanted to know if the young woman had repeated her speech in front of her mother who had been elected first runner-up to Miss Guadeloupe. “My speech, I had prepared it, already a month ago. My mother saw the speech. But it’s true that it’s with coaches rather than I prepared him”, she explained. Matthieu Delormeau therefore wanted to know if it was the production of the program that hired coaches for the Misses. “He was the coach of Miss Guadeloupe”, she conceded.
