Dfter having decided to postpone the launch of the Juice mission (Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer), the European Space Agency successfully took off this Friday, the 14th, the Ariane 5 rocket.

This rocket carries on board the satellite whose mission is to study Jupiter and also some of the planet’s moons: namely Ganymede, Callisto and Europa. Scientists believe that these are the natural satellites most likely to show signs of life.

Note that we will still have to wait a good while for the arrival of the Juice satellite in Jupiter’s orbit, as researchers prefer that this will only happen in July 2031.

Remember that the launch of the JUICE mission was postponed due to bad weather in the region of French Guiana, where the rocket took off. Now, with the right conditions, those responsible for the European Space Agency managed to guarantee the success of the take-off.
