Construction work at Bregenz train station

Due to railway construction work in the Bregenz station area, there will be restrictions on train traffic during the day from February 17 to 24, 2023.
The railway construction work in the Bregenz station area, especially on the new Hypo underpass, is progressing. During the period from February 17 to 24, 2024, the railway infrastructure will only be available to a limited extent during the day.
The Railjet trains between Dornbirn and Bregenz and the S-Bahn trains between Dornbirn and Lindau are mainly affected.
This affects train traffic as follows:
long-distance:
- Cancellation of most Railjet trains in the section between Dornbirn and Bregenz (customers are asked to switch to local trains).
- Partial timetable changes for Railjet trains between Feldkirch – Dornbirn / back.
local and regional transport
- Timetable changes for S-Bahn in the Unterland to ensure connections to the Railjet trains in Dornbirn
- Individual S-Bahn trains will later run between Dornbirn and Lindau.
- Individual S-Bahn trains run earlier between Bregenz and Dornbirn.
Travelers are asked to inform themselves in good time before departure
