The President of the Society Movement for Peace (MSP), Abderrezak Mokri, was received at the headquarters of the Presidency by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and he revealed what was discussed during this meeting with The head of state.

Abderrezak Mokri said: “The president has confirmed to me that his doors are open to discussion and dialogue with all personalities and parties in the interest of the nation”.

The same speaker added: “I expressed to the President certain points of view concerning economic and political affairs, and made observations in various fields and files”.

In addition, the President of the Movement of Society for Peace (MSP), confirmed that his meeting with the President of the Republic was good and open, and that he benefited a lot from what the President of the Republic has discussed on various economic issues.

Furthermore, Mokri went on to reveal that he expressed to Tebboune many views of my party. Adding also his satisfaction to see this relationship between the opposition and the current government.

He concluded by saying: “We wish the best for our country and we all cooperate for the good of the country, and whatever the diversity of opinions and ideas, we are all careful to preserve the strength of the Algerian State and our country, and we all help each other for the good of our country. »

Increase in wages, pensions and unemployment benefits in 2023

On Sunday December 25, 2022, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired the last meeting of the Council of Ministers. During this council several files were reviewed, and the Head of State ordered the application of several decisions, in particular for the increase in wages, retirement pensions and unemployment benefits in 2023.

He therefore instructed to raise salaries from 4,500 to 8,500 dinars. The increases decreed between 2022, 2023 and 2024 should therefore reach 47%.

President Tebboune ordered to raise the minimum threshold of retirement pensions to 15,000 dinars for those who receive less than 10,000 dinars and to 20,000 dinars for those who receive between 10,000 and 15,000 dinars. This latest increase should put retirees’ pensions back to the same value as the guaranteed national minimum wage (SNMG), which rose in 2021 from 18,000 to 20,000 dinars.

Finally, the Head of State ordered that the unemployment benefit be increased from 13,000 to 15,000 dinars in addition to the social coverage of the unemployed who receive it from the State.
