Caroline Beil (56) has difficulty understanding the criticism of her second pregnancy. In the summer of 2017, the presenter gave birth to her daughter Ava with her partner Philipp Sattler. Since she was already 50 years old at the time, the pregnancy was discussed critically in public.
But in Caroline’s private life, her age as a mother never played a role. In an interview with Gala she now commented on the allegations. “We have never experienced these discussions in private. That is also an inner perception. Even when I had my son at the age of 42, I was definitely still biologically at the level of a 30-year-old,” she emphasized. Caroline gave birth to her son David in 2009.

In any case, she had no problems in her everyday life with her children. At least not in their environment. At her son’s private school, all the parents are a bit older, jokes Caroline Beil. “Those who used to be grandmas are now mothers.”
However, she rarely shows her daughter Ava in public. In 2021 she made an exception and even took the girl to the red carpet, her husband Philipp was also present at the vernissage in Hamburg. But that was for practical reasons, as the actress revealed. At the time, Caroline told RTL that she spontaneously decided to take the little one with her because she didn’t have an au pair at the time.
