A new hunting season has just started with the expected launch of Monster Hunter Rise on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, since the one that was once exclusive to Nintendo Switch is finally available on all platforms. In addition, Monster Hunter Rise is now available on the Xbox Game Pass service on consoles, PC and the cloud, so it is possible to play it from almost any device.

Monster Hunter Rise is a Capcom game that originally arrived on the Nintendo Switch in March 2021, remaining an exclusive for the entire year. In January 2022 Monster Hunter Rise arrived on Steam and a year later we are seeing its release on PlayStation and Xbox, making it available on all modern platforms.

Monster Hunter Rise has arrived on the Xbox Game Pass service since its launch, so subscribers can now download it on their Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S consoles, as well as Windows PC. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can play Monster Hunter Rise in the cloud, bringing Capcom’s game to mobile devices and browsers.

The best thing is that Monster Hunter Rise is compatible with touch controls on mobile devices, so if you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, all you need to play it is a good internet connection. Even so, if you are going to play Monster Hunter Rise from a mobile device, I recommend doing it with a control connected by bluetooth, because for the type of game that Monster Hunter is, it is much more comfortable.

With the release of Monster Hunter Rise on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, all that remains is to wait for its expansion, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, which will arrive sometime in spring 2023 and will also be available on the Xbox Game Pass service from its launch. In the meantime, play Monster Hunter Rise’s base game so you’re ready when its expansion arrives, or pick up Sunbreak on Nintendo Switch or Steam if you can’t wait to play the DLC.
