Not long until the debut of Monster Hunter Rise on Sony and Microsoft consoles, an event that will allow many players to start hunting with the latest iteration of the long-lived Capcom series, currently only available on PC and Nintendo Switch. Pending its arrival, a leak has anticipated some details regarding the PlayStation version.

The blameless Twitter account known by the nickname Playstation game size in fact, during the evening, it disseminated information on the download size of Monster Hunter Rise in the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 edition. According to what was declared by the dataminer who analyzes the Sony database, the game will have a weight of 27.210GB on the older generation console and of 26.655GB on PS5. Obviously these details are related to version 1.00 of the game and it is not excluded that some updates may arrive between now and the exit that will change the weight of the game on day one. Turning instead to the preloadusers who pre-order the digital version through the PlayStation Store will be able to start downloading the product the classic 48 hours before its release, i.e. starting next January 18, 2023.

At the moment, the official data relating to the editions for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S have not been released but, as regularly happens with third-party productions, it is very probable that the dimensions of the game are comparable to those of the PlayStation consoles even on Microsoft platforms.

For the uninitiated, there is currently no physical edition of Monster Hunter Rise on PlayStation and Xbox. We also remind you that Monster Hunter Rise will be on Xbox Game Pass since its launch, set for January 20, 2023.
