HIt has been known for some time that the producer NetherRealm is working on a new game in the ‘Mortal Kombat’ series and that the launch could still take place in 2023. However, there are also indications that this new game could be a ‘reboot’ of the saga .
This information was provided by @billbil_kun Twitter page, which indicates that the game will be called ‘Mortal Kombat 1’. Therefore, it is possible that NetherRealm wants to have a new opportunity to shape the plot of the game with known characters or, perhaps, debutants.
The new game is allegedly being produced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and also PC and, taking into account the amount of events planned for the summer, it is possible that we will have news in the coming months.
