A failed first project

Indeed, the Moselle has been preparing for this type of business for three years: a previous investor withdrew last December, when the industrial zone planned for this purpose had already been developed. The previous investor, the Indian Rec Solar, had withdrawn to focus on the Indian market. “We, on the other hand, are 100% dedicated to reindustrialising Europe and making ourselves energy independent”, assures Jan Jacob Boom-Wichers. Holosis souhaite “build photovoltaic panels in France, for France and for Europe”according to him.

“I confirm this investment of 710 million euros in Sarreguemines”, said Sunday May 14 on franceinfo the Minister Delegate for Industry Roland Lescure. “For years, we have subsidized photovoltaic panels that were made at the end of the world. From now on, we will have photovoltaic panels made in France”, he congratulated himself.
