VISALIA, California – Visalia police authorities are investigating the cause of an accident that left a motorcyclist dead after crashing into a tree.
At 11:10 pm on Thursday, August 17, officers arrived in the area of Ben Maddox Way and Tulare Avenue on a report of a vehicular accident.
A motorcyclist traveling south on Ben Maddox Wat reportedly lost control of the motorcycle, veering off the road and crashing into a tree on the center embankment, Visalia police said.
The motorcyclist died on impact. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
