MTA installs new access doors at station in Queens

The MTA is installing the first wider gates on the Subway system to prevent fare evasion and make travel easier for people with cars, bikes and luggage.

“Some exciting updates for Queens travelers and @JFKairport travelers! The Sutphin Blvd–Archer Av–JFK Airport Station (E/J/Z) now has:

“✅New fare gates: This facility allows passengers to seamlessly enter with mobility devices, strollers and luggage,” the MTA wrote in a social media message.
