They accuse a Hispanic of shooting that left one dead and two injured in a bar southwest of Houston

HOUSTON – A 23-year-old Hispanic man was charged with the shooting death of a man and causing injuries to two more after an incident that occurred in a bar this Sunday morning.

According to the Police Department, Gabriel Adonai García will face one count of murder and two more charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon before Harris County Criminal Court 482.

According to initial inquiries, the fatality is 35 years old, while the two injured people are 36 and 22 years old. So far their identities have not been revealed.

The incident occurred at a bar located at 10549 South Post Oak at about 2 am on Sunday. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the fatality at the entrance to the scene. The other two victims were taken to an area hospital.

By this time, the suspect had already fled the scene, but shortly thereafter turned himself in to authorities at the HPD Southwest Station. He was remanded to the Harris County Jail.
